Opportunities
We believe strongly in the power of individual expression and achievement. Take risks. Be wrong. Get it right. Shine. If that sounds like the kind of working environment you are in to, let’s talk.
If you’ve ever asked yourself how your voice travels from a wireless device to a cell tower, from a cell tower to a beam of light, across the ocean floor to the speaker of a laptop in a coffee shop ten time zones away, let’s talk. If you can explain HOW that process occurs, even better.
Our process is based on collaboration. We use lots of communication tools and techniques to keep in touch and on track, even if we’re nowhere near each other.
We are currently seeking:
Web Developer
If you stare at the beauty of your own code, this position is for you. OMV is seeking a contract Web Developer for an upcoming project for a European client. Proficiency in Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, and CSS required; PHP, MySql, and Ajax a plus. Where you got your experience is not crucial - we’d expect you probably started tinkering with all this during your teenage years when you should have been doing other homework. If it takes 10 cans of RedBull to self-start and stay on task, that’s fine, but we like to underpromise and overdeliver with our clients. So good time management is important. For more information, drop and email to hr (at) omvltd (dot) com. In that email, send a few links of previous work or a CV, as well as a description of your last act of good charma. Location: Wherever you’re inspired to crank out your best code.
Graphic Designer
Are you wearing a t-shirt of your own design? That’s bold. OMV is seeking a contract Graphic Designer to develop amazing web and print graphics. Proficiency Photoshop CS2+, and Illustrator CS2+ essential (but you probably already knew that). If you got your experience drawing on the walls of your basement, or at a top notch graphic design school, great. We’re just looking for someone who is a self-starter, and self-finisher. For more information, drop and email to hr (at) omvltd (dot) com. In that email, send a few links of previous work or a CV, as well as a description of a previous technology purchase that went either really good or really bad.
Location: Wherever you’re inspired to crank out your best designs.
